Sales Engineer – Order Processing and Fulfilment

Peak Sensors Limited manufactures temperature sensors for a range of worldwide industrial applications. It was established in 1997. We have a strong growth and profitability record, well above industry averages. The company has recently relocated to a new Business Park in Chesterfield.

The company has developed a strong customer base and a reputation for quality, flexibility and responsiveness. It is accredited to ISO 9001:2000. The Directors of Peak Sensors have defined a strategy and plan to grow the company further in the short term. Hence, we need to recruit an engineer to fill the above role. Training in our industry will be given to the successful applicant.

Your key tasks will be:

Liaise with customers, suppliers and all company personnel.
Interpret received sales orders into manufacturing instructions.
Be the primary point of contact for customers with existing sales orders.
Negotiate with suppliers to purchase stock and non stock items.
Drive company order systems.

An ideal candidate will have:

Confidence and communication skills. Be able to deal with non routine situations.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Flexibility and adaptability will be key strengths.
An engineering degree or HND/HNC with technical or engineering experience.
Able to be a self starter - to work unsupervised and effectively complete tasks.
Able to contribute to formal and informal company meetings.
Up to date PC aptitudes and skills
