Single Change Temperature Measurement Devices

Many simple applications which require only an indication that a certain temperature has been reached can be solved with a state-changing device. The change achieved by the sensing device is usually irreversible. Stickers, paints, liquid crystals and many other product forms can be attached to a critical item. Later verification can be made to see if a certain temperature has been achieved (in a heat treatment process ) or not achieved ( for instance on a product degradation in transit issue). Higher temperatures can be detected with alloy fuses. For instance a gold alloy fuse can melt opening a circuit.
