Plastics Industry Thermocouples
We supply several designs of thermocouple to the plastics industry. Common examples include leaf sensors, washer thermocouples or pipe clamp thermocouples. We can manufacture any design of thermocouple so you get the correct sensor for your process.

Plastic Extruder Sensors / Bayonet Thermocouples
Plastic extruder temperature sensors, are also know as bayonet thermocouples. They are used in extruder heads and die adaptors of plastic injection moulding machines. The bayonets can be fixed or adjustable length with several options to design the right sensor for your process.
Nozzle Thermocouple with Bolt/Screw-tip
A thermocouple that is integrated into bolt/screw tip that can be easily secured onto a process. Normally made using a M6 bolt, the sensor can be screwed into position for the measurement of plastic extrusion or forming. Can be supplied with stainless steel overbraid tails and/or support spring.
Pipe Clamp Thermocouples
Can be used for the surface temperature measurement of plastic injection and moulding machinery.
Washer Thermocouple Sensor
A thermocouple that is integrated into a washer or eye that can be easily bolted onto a process. Provides surface temperature measurement of plastic injection machine cylinders, extruder barrel walls and other general purpose monitoring.
